Minimum Requirements:
To be eligible, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Possession of a matric certificate.
- Successful completion of the two years theoretical training required for a National Diploma in Biotechnology/Microbiology/Environmental Sciences or Chemistry.
- South African citizenship with a valid SA ID Document.
- Age under 35, in alignment with NSDS guidelines.
- No prior participation in experiential learning programmes.
- Need for experience to fulfill National Diploma requirements in Biotechnology/Microbiology/Environmental Sciences or Chemistry.

- Preparation of media, chemicals, reagents, and samples.
- Performing analytical analysis on received samples.
- Documentation and verification of results.
- Conducting quality control checks.
- Maintenance of equipment and instrumentation.
- Adherence to safety, health, and environmental practices.
Knowledge, Skills, and Attitude:
Ideal candidates will possess:
- Sound theoretical knowledge in Biotechnology/Microbiology/Environmental Science/Chemistry.
- Effective writing and verbal communication skills.
- Computer literacy in Word Processing and Spreadsheet applications.
- Ability to prioritize, organize, and plan.
- Self-motivation, quality, and output-driven mindset.
- Interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
- Attention to detail and willingness to work flexible hours.
